I’m Joshua Roeder, owner of Caring Transitions of Ellicott City. Most of my career has been built around working with people. I spent over 15 years in the hospitality world, starting out doing the basics like washing dishes and taking out the trash, and eventually working my way up into management and even owning a small restaurant. Those years taught me how to work hard, stay consistent, and treat people the right way. After that, I spent more than a decade in advertising sales, mainly in the automotive and real estate space. I started in Historic Annapolis and later became a four-time President’s Club winner at Cars.com, which gave me the chance to build strong relationships and help businesses grow.
At a certain point, I realized I wanted something more connected to the community around me. I was looking for work that felt a little more meaningful and allowed me to interact with people in a different way. That is what led me here. The idea of being able to help families during important moments in their lives really stuck with me.
Now, my focus is simple. I want to be someone people can count on. I want families in Ellicott City to feel like they have a reliable, steady presence when they need it.
